Academic buildings on the Foggy Bottom Campus are all within easy walking distance, and a shuttle bus runs between the Foggy Bottom and Mount Vernon campuses throughout the day and night.
STUDENT SAFETY IS OUR PRIORITY
On GW’s Foggy Bottom Campus, students can enjoy life in the heart of the city while benefitting from a strong safety and security network. The university’s own police force employs around 200 officers who patrol campus 24/7. GW also offers a free nighttime van service to safely transport students to points around campus. Our location close to the White House and World Bank place our campus at the nexus of security efforts.
